Six people, including a toddler, were injured in a shooting on Wednesday night in Fort Worth, Texas, police say.
At around 7:30 p.m., police responded to reports of what they said was a drive-by shooting.
The victims, whose ages range from 3 to 19 years old, were shot while standing outside an apartment building. A person or persons drove by and started firing bullets, said a representative with Fort Worth police at a press conference.
Police say they do not know what led to the shooting and they are still gathering details.

Police chief: 'It makes me angry'
According to police, five of the victims were taken to the hospital to receive medical treatment for their injuries. One person did not want to go to the hospital. Their conditions were not immediately provided.
"It makes me angry, I am mad, I am pissed off," Fort Worth Police Chief Neil Noakes said to reporters at the press conference. "There’s absolutely no reason anybody should be conducting themselves in such a violent, careless, heartless way that children should be shot."
